Sometimes it's good too take a different perspective.
Hi I'm Laura Kaye Feltham, I'm an artist living in Leeds and sometimes...Bristol. My art is a deeply personal process that comes from and is inspired by all aspects of my life. Thats why this blog is not just my art but my life; the process my work goes through; the sights I've seen; the people I love; the things I'm inspired to try out....Everything! I love to paint but I'm also a photographer, a crafter and a great lover of vintage. Blue Skies

Toothbrush: The final Paintings
These are the final paintings we used for the film
Toothbrush.
You can read more about the project here.
It's been a pleasure to work with the Toothbrush team
and to work with a brief.
I find the paintings quite disturbing in their angry and sadness.
Femininity is not black and white.
1095 (a woman's annual pill intake)
These are some of my most recent painting that were
inspired by a drawing diary I kept.
I found that the immediate nature of the drawing book
(that was small enough to carry around) gave me the ability
to work in a simplistic but affective way.
